2 – 3 years
Playschool
The first school years are about trust, rhythm, and discovery. Children explore routines, sensory play, movement, and early independence in a warm, language-rich environment. Educators focus on emotional security, emerging communication, and the joy of “doing” through hands-on materials and outdoor moments.
Families can expect gentle transitions, clear communication, and celebrations of small wins that build confidence for the years ahead.
3 – 4 years
Nursery
Language blooms alongside curiosity. Children build vocabulary, confidence, and social skills through guided inquiry, story, music, and collaborative play. Problem-solving and early numeracy appear naturally in everyday experiences rather than pressure.
The program nurtures self-expression and listening—foundations for a healthy relationship with learning and peers.
4 – 5 years
Foundational Year 1
As attention spans grow, children strengthen school readiness through hands-on projects, creative expression, and purposeful routines. Literacy and numeracy are woven into themes that matter to them, with room to practise persistence and pride in finished work.
Socio-emotional skills—turn-taking, empathy, and self-regulation—are coached alongside academic habits that set up a confident transition to formal schooling.
5 – 6 years
Foundational Year 2
Learners deepen problem-solving, communication, and reflection. They take on longer projects, articulate ideas to a group, and practise the habits of a curious student: asking questions, revising work, and supporting classmates.
The focus remains holistic—academic growth sits alongside character, movement, and wellbeing so children leave the foundation years ready for the next chapter with confidence.
Extended day
Day Care
Day Care extends the safety and warmth of Koorooma beyond core program hours. It supports working families with supervised rest, nourishing routines, and age-appropriate activities that align with the school’s values—play, respect, and predictable care.
Whether you need a full extended day or bridge hours between pickup and work, our team coordinates with class mentors so your child’s experience feels continuous, calm, and known.
